A Conversation with Audrina Patridge
The third season of The Hills is on DVD this week and the fourth season opens in less than a month. ReallyTo commemorate both momentous occasions, the Los Angeles Times spoke with Audrina Patridge while she was on her way to get your hair done.
LAT: Is your friend Lauren Conrad
Sometimes I see when it is notAudrina Patridge: We live together, so yes, we are a lot while the show is recorded.
LAT: But she is your friend out of The Hills ..
But you know, things change and friendships away. Lauren Conrad and I are not friends, no, we’re just not as close as we used to beIn the fourth season, you’ll see our fight cleared. Basically, start doing my own thing separately from her and Lo [Lauren Bosworth], and get to work. Audrina Patridge: We have a lot of the same friends, but we try to reserve one night a week to hang out.
Blame to live together with her and Lauren for the breakup of his friendshipLAT: What’s This?
We used to be next to each other in our apartment. Not really blame Lo, though. She and Laura have been friends for a long timeAudrina Patridge: I think living in that separate guest house of mine was indeed the cause of tension between Laura and me.
LAT: Do you think it is accurately portrayed in the hills
Audrina Patridge: I think I’ve been portrayed well in the program. They filmed a little, but they can not air allBut is based on Lauren’s life, so some of the things in my life, like my friends, are not in the show: my personal life with my true friends and my family, going to acting classes, shooting films.
LAT: What’s the biggest misconception about you

In real life, however, I’m bubbly and fun and talkative and when you see me on the program I’m always sitting there and sad. I’m there for LaurenAudrina Patridge: I do not feel like I show in the hills sticking up for myself.
LAT: Tell us about the movie you just shot, a sequel to Into the Blue
There were also many more people, but I felt very preparedEveryone was so nice and supportive. It became much more comfortable on a set. Audrina Patridge: We filmed on Oahu. “The Hills” definitely helped just in terms of being in front of the cameras and crews are used to watching me. It’s so different from a reality show because I have to memorize lines.
Still looking for a career in the music industryLAT: Do you still work at Epic Records?
Audrina Patridge: I do not work there as it used to. It’s definitely not what it used to be when the series began
LAT: What is your title
I can help with anything. But I’m very focused on performanceHelp me with artists from time to time, making sure they are addressed. I also A & R, listen to demos. Audrina Patridge: You know, I do not know what my title.
